In Russia police suppose to shoot in the air first, only then to the body. Most of the times the aim at the legs tho. Unless situation is very dangerous. In this case they could shoot him in the legs tho. Too much fire power been used IMO. On the other hand, how dumb and stupid you need to be to charge at police with the knife like that, or even without... this is not Russia, you will die

Completely agree. There's a lot of racist bullshit on this forum but this was not racist action by law enforcement. The person filming was even trying to complain about the number of shots but this is what law enforcement is trained to do. I have no doubt whatsoever if this had been a white person they are taken down in the exact same way unless if maybe they were a celebrity but that's not a guarantee. Also if you didn't want this to be the outcome than why do you call the cops? Maybe get in front of this maybe mentally ill person & force him to listen to reason. I mean if you had to shot him wouldn't you want the legal system to back you on why you shot him if the shoe was on the other foot? I mean you do really want some stranger being involved with someone you know is dangerous & could kill them legally if they deem them to be a threat? Don't call the cops in this situation unless you are prepared to have them die.

Well put! I could not have said it better myself. I heard this analogy the other day and it made me chuckle...
If you are a minority in America, buy a typical household candle and when you get home, light it and stick your hand directly over the flame. When your hand catches on fire, who are you going to call in this situation and who is to responsible for you catching your hand on fire? Why do you say you'll call the fire department? After all, it is their job to fight fires, but they are to blame for you getting burned. If they would do their job appropriately, nobody would get burned...Simply put, do not put the police in a situation where they are forced to choose between saving their lives vs anybody else. And don't blame them for holding your hand over the flame when you got burned. Completely opposite ends of the spectrum and unrelated.
