Peruvian Woman Walking Down Sidewalk is Gunned Down
Carabayllo, Lima, Peru A 35-year-old fruit vendor, Deysi d.R.A.C., was walking along the sidewalk when a man wearing grey pants, a gray jacket, and a blue cap crossed the street and quickly approached her. Without saying a word, he pulled out a firearm and fired multiple shots at close range. In June 2024, Deysi's husband, 38-year-old Anthony J.V.M., was murdered in front of her whilst they were on their way to pick up a vehicle they had rented. Investigations later revealed that the murder occurred after Anthony refused to pay the extortion fees demanded by criminal groups. |

What a shame. What about her poor kids? I am close friends with a Peruvian family. They had to leave Peru because of criminals like that. Extortionists and gangs are just everywhere over there.  Hope they catch the scumbag |
