It looks like he was trying to get to the horse closest to him, but stumbled too far, ended up going clear across the path of that horse, right into the path of the next horse!  Although he does manage to keep his eye on his horse, that’s probably why he doesn’t appear to even see that he’s about to be run over until the very last moment. Either that or he was swept up in the emotions of the day, and really wanted to be a part of the big race. Until the horse knocked him into eternity!  …Or, it was one of the strangest suicides ever recorded. Definitely one of those.  |

It seems to be something on with the group of people there where initially the white shirt guy come out and being pull back by the cowboy hat guy but the guy who ran over by the horse seems to be running out avoiding something or someone. He look back at the group of people before get run over by the horse.
