The sequence of events appears correct. Whether or not there is any causal connection between the two events is another question.

A 42-year-old patient, Md Akbar, died at Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in New Delhi, India after a ceiling fan fell on him while he was receiving treatment. Mr Akbar had been admitted to the emergency ward for hypertension, meningoencephalitis, and aspiration pneumonia. The incident occurred in the presence of hospital staff, and a nursing officer attending to him also sustained injuries. He died less than three hours after the fan fell, with his death certificate listing his pre-existing conditions as the cause of death. Mr Akbar's family protested the quality of treatment and the circumstances surrounding his death, but the hospital has not yet issued a statement. |
