Indonesia. The search for Mustakim (38), from the Central Lombok Regency, who has been missing since Wednesday (24/6), has finally came to an end as he was found dead hanging in the forest area in the North Batukliang District, yesterday July 24.

He was reported missing after saying goodbye to his family to look for grass for livestock in the forest area. However, until the afternoon and even evening, the victim did not return home. The family and local residents then searched around the location where the victim usually visited, but without success.

Because he was not found, the family reported the incident to the Police. For almost a month, the search continued, but the victim's whereabouts were still unknown.

The victim was finally found accidentally by a resident who was clearing land in the forest area on yesterday. The resident initially smelled a pungent odor that was thought to be from a corpse. He then invited a friend to look for the source of the smell.

While searching, the witness found a body hanging. The discovery was then reported to the head who then forwarded it to the Police.

Based on the initial examination, the body had undergone advanced decomposition. The victim's body was found in a disfigured condition, with blackened skin, a blue nylon rope still wrapped around the neck and several body parts had been damaged due to the decomposition process.

The family also stated that Mustakim was an outpatient at a Mental Hospital.

Based on the results of the crime scene investigation, there were no initial indications that pointed to a crime. The family also stated that they accept the incident as an accident and refuse an autopsy on the victim's body.
