Parking Dispute Results in Man Being Repeatedly Shot
San Vicente Pacaya, Guatemala A verbal argument between two men, reportedly over a parking space, resulted in one of the men pulling out a gun and shooting the other several times. The deceased was identified as 31-year-old José L.V. (first pic), who worked for an animal rights organization and owned a dog shelter. José had got into an argument with another man - identified as 50-year-old Byron O.P.P., a former police deputy director - over a parking space at the popular tourist destination. Some reports claimed that José punched Byron in the kerfuffle. In response, Byron pulled out his gun, shot José several times, before fleeing the scene. He has not yet been apprehended. |

Re: Parking Dispute Results in Man Being Repeatedly Shot
interesting cast of characters with a former police deputy director vs animal rights activist. Story says the young guy punched him right before. i dont think you should get carte blanc to kill if your opponent starts backing off. |

Re: Parking Dispute Results in Man Being Repeatedly Shot
I heard the victim say something about "borracho" (drunk), then some fat bitch is like "llamen a la patrulla" (call the police), so I cant make out what the killer is saying.

parking a car is like finding a lover, all the good ones are taken so you just stick it in the nearest one and hope some other guy's not in there already.

Re: Parking Dispute Results in Man Being Repeatedly Shot
Guy looks so friendly now does he? The murder is due to a conflict over a tourist parking business in the foothills of Pacaya Volcano, because Don Byron P., didn't want competition and killed him for putting a business on par with his. Neighbors in the area report that because he was an ex-police officer, members of the PNC facilitated his escape and are reported to have removed the four-wheelers from their business with official cranes, as neighbors threatened to set him on fire, taking the four-wheeler to the house of the former police officer. I'm surprised he got arrested. |
