They didn’t steal it. It was America’s gift to them after turning away so many Jews that were trying to escape nazi Germany. There are many predominantly Muslim countries, there absolutely can be one tiny predominantly Jewish country is the Middle East. If they don’t protect themselves and assert their power when being fired at, they will be perceived as weak and killed just like their ancestors. So if your people died and cried for thousands of years while waiting to be accepted somewhere, I’d expect you guys would want a place to call home too.

Well, let’s be clear. “America’s gift”? It was the UN, with significant British push/support that gave the world the “Partition Plan for Palestine” in 1947. In 1948 Israel shed the British Mandate when they declared their independence. The terrorism and fighting had been ongoing long before that actually, with a lot of it directed at the British.
