Yep, most people bleed out from gunshot wounds, could be internal or external bleeding, the rare one shot instantly incapacitating shootings are almost unheard of with pistol rounds. Don't believe it? Have a friend suddenly run at you as if attacking and see if you try and aim for his head or legs. You'll point at his center of mass everytime. They usually fall down from the shock of being hit, not because they are dead. I've seen many deer get shot by 30-.06 or .308 clean through muscle and run away. |

Yeah, I think that was a woman officer who dropped the clip. And because of that she wasn't able to take the last shot, completing the "shave and a haircut" beat. Now it just sounds silly. |

If you don't quite agree with what happened put yourself in their situation: You are facing a person whose intent is unknown. You know that she has a knife but you don't know if she is practiced at throwing knives, or worse, has a gun or even a bomb. Do you shoot her in the leg so she's still able to use any of those options? OR, do you incapacitate her for not only your own safety, but also for the safety of every person in the immediate area? Put yourself in their shoes. I know what I would do, and I wouldn't have any hesitation nor regret in carrying out this task. |

Israel has every right to be there and their enemies has made it clear they don't believe they have a right to excisit. As far as this woman I would imagine the concern is a bomb but she had ample warnings to drop it a give up, she didn't.
