Pakistani Man Sets Himself on Fire In Protest Over Being Fired
Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan Couldn't find much official info, but apparently the man, named Zeeshan, complained that, while his salary was fixed at 40,000 rupees ($144), he was only being paid 19,000 ($68). He tried complaining to a politician, but he ended up losing his job and he was refused reinstatement, se went back to the office and committed self-immolation. He died from his injuries around two to three weeks later. |

I understand the feeling of wanting people to feel sorry for you. You’re crying out for help and no one hears you. Then you strike the match and immediately know you’ve done the wrong thing. |
