Well, I don’t think Trump had anything to do with Louisiana State lawmaking… and I believe it’s just the Ten Commandments they’re posting. Besides the fact that they are from the Bible, it’s a great set of rules for ANY society or person to follow.
I also don’t believe that has anything at all to do with whether it was a Democrat or a Republican who brought it up, because they all voted on it, and passed it, so I believe the fact that it was brought up was more that they are in the Bible Belt.
And it’s not the first time…
And Pakistan?? That’s an odd choice.
Doesn’t even make sense to the argument.
Regarding only the religion aspect, the First Amendment is only SUPPOSED to keep a separation between religion and the government. To paraphrase, it says the government will make no law regarding religion.
Specifically, it states:
Amendment I
Freedoms, Petitions, Assembly
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
That covers making laws about religion. It doesn’t specifically say that religion will be kept separate from the ’state’. It just prevents government from making any laws regarding religion.
Besides, as we all know, there are MANY other religions in America that are NOT being allowed or represented in our public schools…

And I will use teaching our children about sexual deviance in public schools, and not keeping it private within the family, as an example of how that could go wrong… Suddenly the government is telling us that they can take children away from their parents to have these irreversible surgeries as PREPUBESCENT CHILDREN. They don’t even KNOW what they’re attracted to yet!!!
Anyway, I have a huge problem with ANYONE posting or teaching ANYTHING about ANY religion in publicly funded schools, unless they are ALL represented. You can’t pick just one religion without prejudice...
They are two very different and separate institutions, one supported (and controlled) by our government, and the other is not.
There is no middle ground between them.
It’s extremely concerning that this issue is being tested, yet again, being pushed and pushed, because someday the people will give up on it.
Our Federal government acts like a bully. It has become far too large and will continue to overstep their bounds and authority, NONE of which will ever benefit the American people.
People need to start waking up and realize that we’re being used, and more, by our own government.
Our people need to stand up and stop the oppression being inflicted upon us by those we elect to represent us. Guess what? They are only interested in themselves and supporting the lobby groups with the highest payout. How else does a newly elected member, with a normal net worth, suddenly skyrocket to become a multimillionaire just a few short years after being elected?
There are examples of this.
We, as a nation, need to get back to the basics that the Constitution outlined for our structure, which is that the states should be governing themselves with minimal interference by the Federal government.
The Federal government is actually supposed to be quite small, certainly compared to the current size, and fairly non invasive as far as the citizens, who should be governed by the state they live in.
Our forefathers are rolling in their graves. It’s extremely sad to see our country taken over by the ’uniparty’, comprised of politicians who want nothing but money and power. The EXACT OPPOSITE of what we should be!
Over the past few years I’ve come to call myself a “CONSTITUTIONALIST”.
I don’t support either/any political party unless they also support, and UPHOLD the word and intent of our Constitution. And that includes being FOR THE PEOPLE, not greed for themselves, and especially NOT for maintaining the current overblown state of affairs… it makes me sick.

I don’t like talking about politics because I can become particularly verbose on the topic.
But I really hope more people start thinking!!!
Our government has been hijacked by a Marxist socialist group of politicians who also don’t want to give up their control and power.
Hence the formation of the ‘Uniparty’. Keeping their cronies in, and differing opinions (and change) OUT!!! That is very bad, that kind of behavior slows everything down and our government becomes stagnant. They are, so far, ‘keeping up appearances’ by having elections, (THAT’S another story…) and they allow a new leader, a figurehead, to come in every four or eight years, while their machinations continue in the shadows.
I hope people will realize with our current president. You don’t really think that BIDEN is ‘in charge’, right??
He’s talking to people who aren’t there, losing his bowels in public situations, and saying things in speeches that don’t even make sense!
Never mind the kid sniffing…
I see it as a pure case of elder abuse. His wife, and the people who are using him as a front, should be ashamed, and should be convicted, but that will never happen.

They have too much power against the citizens. (Look at what is happening to Trump, just because the current politicians are afraid that he CAN be elected, and the change he makes actually scares them enough to legally attack and ruin the man to prevent his election.
THIS IS SCARY. A perfect example of how our government will keep us down, and out of control.
How on earth is that FAIR??
It absolutely shows how we are each powerless against the government, except that we are an armed populace, (this is the EXACT REASON why it is the only constitutional right that can never be infringed upon!!!), and we have the numbers.
But, unfortunately, unless something DRASTIC happens, I see another civil war coming in the next 50 years, or so, specifically because the current ‘lifelong’ installed politicians (Uniparty), who are fighting to maintain their power over all of us, will NEVER EVER leave gracefully.
Mark my words; Within 50 years.
