He was just hitch-hiking, when all of a sudden...some guys pulled up in a car, jumped out, stabbed his ass 327 times, cut off his ears, his dick and balls, and don't forget his head. Then one of the killers realized they might be overdoing it a bit...so they apologized, kicked him out of the car, and drove away.
As you can see, hitch-hiking is an iffy prospect.
