Difficult for the driver to explain that away, especially when caught on camera. Must have been driving with their eyes closed, or playing with phone.

Re: Old Man Spun Into the Air After Being Run Over at Crossing
The car to the righthand side of the car that hit the pedestrian impeded the driver's view. Notice how quickly the first car stopped once he realized a person was crossing in the crosswalk? The car that hit the man never saw him to begin with probably due speed as well?

Both idiots. Crossing without traffic awareness. Approaching a pedestrian crossing at high speed without awareness.
