Indaiatuba, São Paulo state, Brazil An elderly man, aged 83, died after being run over while crossing the pedestrian crossing. The driver of the vehicle arrived at the police station to give a statement, and the case was registered as vehicular manslaughter. |

Difficult for the driver to explain that away, especially when caught on camera. Must have been driving with their eyes closed, or playing with phone.

The car to the righthand side of the car that hit the pedestrian impeded the driver's view. Notice how quickly the first car stopped once he realized a person was crossing in the crosswalk? The car that hit the man never saw him to begin with probably due speed as well?
