There's a much more gruesome, higher resolution video transferred to DVD of this incident that is used in Public Safety Training Courses for law enforcement but AFAIK it's never been released to the internet

thanks for the info. i guess the original video is cut at the same place as the low quality one on the internet or did he continue to videotape the body after the accident ?

I think it ends with the same cut. The higher resolution is what makes it more gory. Even with the low res version posted here & elsewhere on the net, you can clearly see an enormous spray of blood & tissue coming from the body at the moment of impact.

I remember, years ago, before I ever saw any gore videos, my old man described this clip to me and talked about how horrible it was. He made it out like you can see her splatter into shreds of meat a second before she goes off-screen. Kind of underwhelming when I finally found the clip and saw she just kind of flies at the camera like a rag doll. :\

Crossing signals are on, train is parked on track, some people think it is now OK to cross. BLAMMO! I live a few blocks from that train a few stops east of where that happened. Commuters will hustle across 3 tracks behind the train they just got off, they glance both ways, very confident, no reason to wait for the signal to stop. Every few years one forgets to look and BLAMMO.
