Old American Woman Run Over by Water Tanker Truck in Mexico
Oaxaca, Mexico A 73-year-old woman, Carol E., originally of Savannah, Georgia, was killed after being run over by a water tanker truck whilst crossing a street. For over two decades, she had regularly holidayed in Oaxaca. Although some paramedics arrived at the scene to stabilize Carol, the ambulance was delayed, and Carol was ultimately pronounced dead minutes later. According to initial reports, the driver of the truck, Jonathan B.M., failed to notice Carol as he was turning a corner. He faces charges for negligent homicide. |

Serious lack of situational awareness by both parties. |

Agreed. Crossing the road in front of a large truck wasn't the best idea she had. It was, however, seemingly the last. Also, can we agree that a truck is nothing but a large car ? In that case, the pun "the Carolled over her" is valid Seriously though, when I walk alone on the streets I almost always have headphones on, and I don't hesitate to turn my head in every direction to see what's going on in my surroundings, especially near a crossing. It's a basic survival skill |

The ambulance was delayed!?! So what!?! Pick her old ass up off the street and throw her in the back of a pickup. They do it to those people we see shot so often in pool halls and diners with plastic chairs and tables. |

Oh Carol, I am but a fool. Darling, I love you, though you treat me cruel. You hurt me and you make me cry. But if you leave me, I will surely die. |
