He got cut by the second robber or accidentally shot himself by the looks of it during the struggle. Way to stay calm and handle that shit!

The robber shot the cop about the same time the other guy grabbed him. You clearly see the robber drop the gun on the floor. The cop actually kicks it away from him at one point.
