exactly.... those of us who work with the dead and dying have a "Death sense" we can sense it before our brains can register death. but if we operated on that sense alone....the lawsuits would pile up!!! |

You are absolutely right, I work EMS and can sense a code or something fucked before I get there. Protocols protect me from not working traumatic arrests though, I’ll load up corpses and transport even if I know efforts are futile and in a public place though. A call that came to mind is a auto-ped in front of a club with hundreds of bystanders, it was an obvious with no possibility of ROSC, transported due to violent and belligerent bystanders. the hospital was pissed but fuck it.
