To all of you that defend this homeless dude (who threatened people’s lives on the train and also has a long criminal record of his own) and want this marine to be charged and sent to prison are the reason people are not going to step up and help anyone ever again because of fear of being put on social media labeled an aggressor. It’s every man/ woman for themselves now. People are going to walk right pass when shit goes down. People are going to have to learn to handle their own from now on.

Fair enough. This is what happens when the "leaders" and "law makers" in a state do not hold criminals accountable and do nothing to help people with mental illness. If this homeless man was treated or in jail for the many ghastly crimes he committed, then a person would not have had to restrain him causing his death. When you make threats to harm or kill others, you forgo your right to live because you are forgoing the right for others to live. No one on this train should have felt in danger enough for an untrained citizen to take matters into his own hands. Marines are nor trained to restrain. So who's fault us it exactly? All on the marine? I do not think so. |

I don’t think the guy did anything wrong. It seemed to me he was only trying to stop the threat. I would NOT have let the guy back up to fight.

It is the fault of the homeless guy, and the system that allowed for homeless people to exist, not the marine I agree. But again, if the Marine grabbed him and broke his neck like “whoops, sorry old habits lol” then it would be an accident, but this I cannot explain; there is no army move to my knowledge where you do this for x minutes

I agree. Holding him like that for such a long time is strange. There is a point where the black man helping tells the crowd that the marine is no longer squeezing him. Neely is still moving almost to the end and appears to take a breath. Which as we all know on here could be agonal breaths. I no longer trust government agencies. The autopsy seemed very fast and vague. I hope they get a second opinion. But the theatrical display that this man was some sort of Saint martyr is a crock of shit. |
