He was a slave of money, it wasn't even his money and he was protecting it. It's not like the corporation who owns that shitty store will give a shit for the 100 pesos that kid stole...
Who the fuck gets a second chance like that? The guy clearly wanted to shot him in the head, he missed and shot his accomplice...distracting the shooter and giving him time to ESCAPE towards the back of the store... he instead ran towards him...
