Re: NEWS: Teen Disarms LASD Police Officer, Fatally Shoots Herself
If the cops picked her up and brought her to the station how was she not wearing handcuffs? Had she been handcuffed Sgt KnobGobblingest Fuck Stick III may have been able to fend off the vicious 2 second assault from an angry high school girl and shot her himself like he was trained to do

Had she been properly handcuffed Sgt Fuck Stick might have been able to fend off the vicious 2 second assault from an angry high school girl and shot her himself like he was trained to do. This is a failure on every level

Re: NEWS: Teen Disarms LASD Police Officer, Fatally Shoots Herself
Just wonder what if the girl just wanted to get the gun but never plan to shot her self? Also why the policeman punches the girl instead of trying to grab and get back the gun from the girl? That should be the basic instinct that a person will react if your things has been taken directly from your body or hands. Another thing is that could the girl be accidentally pull the trigger when she's trying to cover her face because of pain from punching? You know the normal human reaction to pain and have forgotten what in your hand but only trying to cover the painful face? Could the policeman and the girl knowing each other? Because if you know that's a young girl that already make you angry before came to look for you and your 1st reaction is to give her some "color" and never expect the gun will be trigger? What if the police station is trying to cover up something? Why the external camera shot is not shown?

Precisely. Looks like your standard friction retention, and a tiny one at that. Probably some older deputy who normally does desk work but got called out because the rest of the department was picking dead hobos off the street and it was a suicidal chick. Kinda sucks for him, but you gotta watch your shit, bro. |

Re: NEWS: Teen Disarms LASD Police Officer, Fatally Shoots Herself
Correct. Surprise and the fact that it clearly wasn't in a good enough holster (needed active retention rather than just being essentially friction fit), combined with a sadly determined person, explains everything. LEO really shouldn't skimp on gear, training and practice (not blaming him but just pointing out the trend). Sure they're better off buying their own but still. Same goes for private citizens but slightly less so because it's not a profession. Look at how quickly this all went down. With a proper holster, her attempt could've been delayed at least and that might've bought the deputy time to fight her off. |
