Decapitated pedestrian ID'd as Genovese family associate Anthony 'Tony Cakes' Conigliaro.

Hmmmmmm...

Anthony Conigliaro, alias "Tony Cakes" or "Dessert Tony," was accused by federal prosecutors in Brooklyn in 2005 of being a member of the Genovese crime family.

Court documents indicate Conigliaro ran a wholesale pie business in New York and an Italian ice cream stand in Little Italy.

He was accused of working as a loan shark for the Genovese crime family, according to federal authorities.

Conigliaro pleaded guilty to conspiracy and served a 13-month sentence, according to court records.

Sources report other legal matters, such as arrests in 1999 for usury and in 2006 for grand theft, the latter already sealed.
