911 is dialed after the fact not before, you and you alone are the only person who can save yourself should a horrible situation ever come your way. But you have to be prepared and ready long before something terrible comes knocking on your door.

His whole point was that you don't go outside, to investigate noises in the dark. If you reach a point where you feel the need to draw a gun, you have reached a point where you should call 911. That's how it works. You don't draw a gun if your life is not in danger. If your life is in danger, you call 911.
Its crazy how Americans are so afraid and paranoid about everything( especially gun owners ). Paranoid about their own government, neighbors, suburb, city etc. I.e it appears to be true, that in the US children are not allowed to walk outside alone...sometimes not even in their own back yard :D
In Europe, children go to school alone. I went to school alone, in the dark(so early in the morning) since first grade( 6 years old ). And so did everyone else. And we played hide and seek till midnight...outside, alone. This concept of "helicopter parents ferrying their kids to school" every morning doesn't really exist here. Now, imagine the "perceived threat" if you can't let your kids play outside...in your own backyard.

I didn't mention any religion at that point.

The difference in what I said and what you said is that I was right, and you were wrong....on everything.

1) I didn't post anything hateful about stupid people. Pointing out that stupid people are stupid is not hateful. The word "hate" has a meaning. You can't throw that word at anyone who you don't like.
2) Im neither misinformed, nor leftist.
3) As most people here, i don't watch TV. And I get my news from a variety of sources( like the Ground news app which presents all sources ). Unlike you, i almost always trace the sources of most important news to see if they speak the truth( they rarely do ).

4) What i think of
- "Americans": Americans are like all other people. A bit entitled and spoiled...but overall, just people, like everyone else. I don't hate or love them for no reason. US has 300+ million people. It contains some of the worst people in the world, and some of the best people in the world. Thats how large populations work.

- "Conservatives" - conservatives are the worst among Americans. The more conservative someone becomes, the worse they get. The less reasonable they are. Conservatives are against most progress, human rights, well being, environment, free thought etc etc. Conservatism goes hand in hand with the second general evil in the world...religion and faith.

- "Religion and Faith" - This needs no other explanation I assume, since Faith is by definition ignorance and stupidity. That's just what the word means. Religion...looking at history, has been the single shittiest thing mankind ever invented.

Now, I never bring out any of the politics/religion/faith crap unless the other person's replies are influenced/based on that shit.

And lastly:

Not sure what "we ever forget" means, but i assume it was meant to be as a threat "if you ever forget...", but the answer remains the same...No...no you cant. YOU can't do anything.
