Presuming that "prayer meetings" aren't spontaneous, I'm wondering why, when events like this are regular and predictable, that I dunno DECADES ago they might've started planning ahead on a local and national bais, setting up mitigation or better event management, expanding facilities and infrastructure to cope.... Oh well.

So... does this make those 'dying for the best seat' like that, into martyrs (died for a 'cause', if for no good reason)? On the other hand, if more of this kind of thing happened it feels like it'd start to relieve India's population pressures....
