Nepal - Mount Manaslu Avalanche Kills Several People
V.B. published dramatic footage of a terrible tragedy: On Mount Manaslu (Nepal), an avalanche descended, which demolished climbers. Other participants of the ascent became unwitting witnesses of the tragic moment. Several people died. V.B. herself was not injured, but she survived severe stress. The ascent to the mountains had to be interrupted.

At least 2 climbers have been killed and as many as 12 climbers were injured when an avalanche struck them just below Camp IV of Mt Manaslu. The avalanche struck the route just below Camp IV when they were ferrying logistics to high camps.
