Males definitely need to be taken through some guidance about the path to take when something hard happens. Ie She won't let you see the kids: in theory: Resolve it through court. 9 months. 30% chance of ideal outcome. Best strategy: Work out. Jack off. Sleep. Focus on work. Pay child support. 70% chance she'll share custody when she wants to share the work. If you're a good dad other women will see you as a reasonable investment. Good advice and you're probably right on the low chance of good outcome for the guy. Had a buddy went through a terrible divorce. Not going to get into who was the good person and who was not, I think they both had enough dirt on their shoes to call it even but she put him through hell on seeing the kid, even on his appointed days. My opinion (proven later) she cared more about torturing him than thinking she was the better parent. Kid got into early teen years and started the teen bullshit and of course mom changes her tune and told dad he could see the kid as much as he wanted (AKA "you deal with her"). To his credit, he did and I think did a great job helping the kid to unfuck herself and straighten up.
