Murder-Suicide in Cambodia: Man Kills Girlfriend, Then Shoots Himself
Khan Sen Sok district, Phnom Penh Not a lot of information at the moment, and Khmer sucks when it comes to translating. The victim was a 26-year-old (or 28) online seller, E.S., while the shooter, 32-year-old T.V., was a lawyer. Apparently, jealousy was the motive for the murder-suicide, although it was also reported that T. had tried to kill himself a few months ago by jumping into the river, and that he was suffering from mental health issues. |

She wanted to break up with him so he used a CZ P-07 to shoot her and after that himself in the back. Five bullet cases were found. The victim was seen driving a white Ford car with license plate Phnom Penh 2AR-4896 traveling along the road in the direction from east to west. When she arrived at the scene, she stopped on the sidewalk at 20 Street S-02, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. At that time, another black MG car with license plate Phnom Penh 2BS-8007, driven by the gunman, was seen coming from behind. In the same direction, he drove to a stop behind the car of the victim. Later, the victim opened the door to get out of the car and could not walk a few steps. Short shots fired at her making her to fall to her death in a pool of blood, and the assailant then took a the gun and shot himself in the back, causing serious injuries and was rushed to the emergency room but died on arrival. According to authorities and security camera footage at the scene, before the incident, the woman was seen getting out of her car and walking towards the man in the back, and the man was seen coming down from above. He approached the woman and fired three or four more shots at her head, killing her instantly at the scene. After the incident, the local authorities, in cooperation with the forensic experts of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police, came down to examine the body of the victim after examining and then made a record and handed it over to the family for the traditional ceremony.  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
