Municipal Guard Killed in Confrontation w/ MP Officer
A municipal guard died this past Wednesday night (3) after exchanging shots with a military police officer in the municipality of Centenário, west of Boa Vista. In security camera footage, you can see the officer walking on the street when a vehicle pulls up next to him. After a few words, both men drew their firearms and started shooting. The police officer was hit and is in serious condition. Both men were in civilian clothes. The victim, who was shot in the head, was rushed to the General Hospital of Roraima but was dead on arrival. The case will be investigated by the General Homicide Police (DGH). It hasn't been reported on what caused the incident. |

Looks like the only shot was the initial panic shot straight to the head. Would love some more info.
