In Manaus, Amazonas state, Brazil, 24-year-old motorcyclist Mateus H.B.d.S. was killed when he collided with a truck in the South Zone of the city.

CCTV footage showed that both the truck and the motorcycle were close to the lane divider markings, with the truck moving over the markings to the right-hand lane right before the crash (Brazil vehicles drive on the right), whilst Mateus' motorcycle was virtually on the markings.

Mateus's female passenger was rescued, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. He worked as both a real estate agent, and a ride-hailing motorcyclist.

I'm wondering if the motorcycle thought the truck was going to cut across in front of them and Park on his side of the road and tried to avoid the anticipated action only to be wrong.
