Re: Motorcyclist Hits Car & Goes Flying

in europe. if u hear news on the radio that a motorcyclist crash on a road. they dont mention whether or not they died cause 95% of the crashed end up in death for the rider or the driver of a car hitting them. i heard of a motorcycle crashing into the drivers door of a honda civic and the bike cut the driver in half but the motorcylist only had a broken arm or somthing. i want to see the pics or vid of that crash.

Re: Motorcyclist Hits Car & Goes Flying

That was a classic case of 'target fixation'. He was in the inside lane and saw the car crossing in front of him. He then fixated on the car instead of the lane that would have been clear after the car went by. This sometimes happens on the racetrack when somebody goes down and 2 or 3 others follow because they fix their eyes on the crash instead of the track.

#1 rule on a bike; look where you WANT to go, not where you DON'T WANT to go...
