Watch closely. It is likely the truck driver never saw the biker cross in front of him. The biker starts on the curb side of the road and crosses dangerously too close in front of the truck. It looks like the top of his head is below the bottom of the windshield and may have been completely out of view. You can't just cross in front of a moving truck like that and expect to make it to the other side in one piece. Trucks cannot even slow down in time much less avoid running someone over when people pull out five inches in front of truck. The guy on the bike was either deaf or stupid or it was a suicide.
