Riding pillion on a bike, a man in Mumbai died after a barricade put up for road construction fell on him. Another man driving the two wheeler sustained serious injuries after the accident. One person was arrested in connection with the incident after a complaint was registered. Police said that the road belongs to Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) and a private contractor was carrying out road work on it. M P, 28, and his friend P A, 27, were on a two-wheeler when their vehicle collided with a truck after a barricade, kept for road repairs, fell on them. The incident took place around 2.35 pm near Akurli bridge on Saturday when both residents of Kranti Nagar in Kurar, were returning from Borivali. P A was riding the bike, while M P was sitting pillion. According to police, a barricade had toppled due to strong wind and then fell on the bikers who were passing by. The duo then fell on their right-hand side and in a matter of seconds, were crushed under the dumper coming from behind. M P died on the spot after he came under the rear wheels of the dumper. The other received injuries to his head. Following the accident, both were rushed to the Shatabdi Hospital. Samta Nagar police registered a complaint for the offence of causing death due to negligence against the road contractor and dumper driver. Police even arrested the dumper driver, Bablu Yadav, 32, a resident of Milind Nagar in Powai. "We have registered an offence under the IPC section of causing death due to negligence [304 A], rash driving [279] and causing grievous hurt by the act endangering life or personal safety of others [338] against the dumped driver and MMRDA contractor. The dumper driver has been arrested," said Raju Kasbe, senior inspector of Samta Nagar police station. sometimes you run out of luck at those busy streets  |

In the 90s 20/20 once did a special on children getting their insides pulled out of their...butt...and there were like a bunch of kids all over the country who would be unable to remove themselves from the suction thing in the pools they were in. So to see this...OMG...   |
