Re: Motorcycle Rider's Dash Cam Tapes His Best Friend's Fatal Crash
As a motorcyclist, I'm constantly amazed at the sheer stupidity of motorists. Think for everyone else on the road, have at least 2 exits from a hazardous situation, assume you're invisible and don't ride beyond your ability, the environmental conditions or your bikes'. The whole time you're on a bike it's a non-stop risk assessment, stay sharp and don't put yourself in a situation conducive to danger by speeding...

Re: Motorcycle Rider's Dash Cam Tapes His Best Friend's Fatal Crash
Yeah to be honest: 1)He was speeding 2)He was overtaking when he shouldnt be 3)The car infront was also overtaking 4)The car infront didnt check its mirror and was also overtaking when it shouldnt of So basically as in most cases, a combination of stupidity, bad luck and regretful choices resulted in death. |

Re: Motorcycle Rider's Dash Cam Tapes His Best Friend's Fatal Crash
Bikers just can't help it..... That's why I'll never get a bike. I'll tell myself I'll be good and safe and I'll never speed, but as time goes on, you become more daring and try and do a dodgy overtaking procedure. Then you get cocky and do it again. Next thing you know, you're riding at 170mph..... it's just asking to be killed. Bikers can't help but not challenge themselves.
