If I ever did CPR like that at my job. I'd probably get fired. If a person is on a bed, you're supposed to get them on the floor if no other options...

Simone, how do you know this is a Covid death? I listened through half a dozen times and apart from gleaning that the little girl's name is Teria, I don't know where there is enough context to know what the child is dying from.

As to the other comments, this is a shitworld hospital in a shitworld country. You all need to go on a medical missions trip, religious or otherwise, to understand these places. Most of these "nurses" have the equivalent of a practical nurses' experience, if even, and got the license by paying for it. They have no idea what they are doing. Some of the doctors are well trained and some of them found their license in a cereal box. Don't blame them for this. These countries have ZERO upward social mobility for the vast majority of people, so they do whatever they can to bring home food to their kids. Including hiring someone else to take their license exam or faking the CPR cert they can't afford.

If anyone else here is a medical professional, you're needed in shitworld countries. Not as medical tourists, as roll-up-your-sleeves-and-stay-6-months professionals. The next time you grumble sitting around the waiting room, imagine if no one in your hospital knew CPR protocol and your daughter was dying in front of you.
