"From such crooked wood as man is made, nothing straight can be fashioned" I don't know why they did this, but I doubt he deserved it. And of course, that's how these evil pigs are

Re: More Mexican Cartel Creativity...
Same thoughts here. He's pretty smooth with getting the limbs off. The knees would be easy to get through. I'd have a problem with the arms. He went right through! Maybe it's his job. Possible med school... Possible maniac? |

Re: More Mexican Cartel Creativity...
You don't need to cut through bone, just through the supporting ligaments and a little muscle and skin, it's known as disarticulation. With a big joint like the knee it's very easy, the shape of the bone guides the blade between the head of the femur and tibia. The toughest bit is getting through the ACL as it's kinda hidden, as you can see with the second leg being removed. The shoulder disarticulation was pretty well done too, though his sterile technique was poor and he really should have closed the 2 below knee amputations before moving on to the shoulders. How well the patient does post op in terms of infection control and cosmetically remains to be seen. Blood loss was a bit high. Could have done with a bit more anaesthesia and a more sympathetic medical team. I hope they had informed consent to record and document this "novel" surgical technique, no matter how trailblazing a surgeon is, he still needs consent |
