Perfect example of why you shoot till the threat is neutralized (on the ground!) A piece of wood could be lethal if you’re beat enough times over the head with it. A knife could take one lucky swipe/stab to kill you. A gun takes a single trigger pull. If you shoot once or twice and then stop and assess and ask “has he stopped? Is he gonna keep coming” that could be a fatal mistake on your part. This is for the “WhY DiD HE shOOt hIM sO MaNy TImes?!?!” crowd. Once the decision to use lethal force is made you’re there and the threat must be neutralized. Crazy stuff, all those rounds he took to the chest before finally going down. |
