That is some real zombie apocalypse shit right there. Perp with rage distorted face taking multiple .40 cal or 9mm shots to the chest with no visible effect. Fat old white cop shooting his pistol sideways gangsta style while getting beaten with a stick. Bystander Of Color (BOC) isn't worried about the ultra violence and wild gunshots just feet away, he just wants crazy asshole dead and gives a fearless, unhesitating running commentary and unflinching, stable camera work. I nominate BOC for Documenting Reality's 2021 and possible All Time Cinematography Award, he keeps his camera steady and trained on the subject despite the chaos feet from him.

A good documentarian, however, is supposed to remain completely silent and not attempt to influence any of the action taking place.

I never took a journalism class, is that where you learn about "documentarians"?

I can't think of any news reporters from MSNBC or CNN or New York Times that are "documentarians".

I live a mile away from incident.This dude was 52, married and what you could easily say, successful and had a good job. No drugs or alcohol was in his system. Still to this day, no more info besides what I listed

There is footage that wasn't shown during to cop not having body can on. But apparently he has tried tazing him and trying to calm him down. He had been hitting other cars with that wood and the cop had been in area coincidentally, and didn't have his camera on, until we see this.
