Re: Minnesota Man Dies In Custody
First of all, this is so blatantly murder, it makes Radio Raheem's death look tame by comparison. While being black doesn't exactly help one's chances for survival, I've also seen too many of these videos on DR to think the issue is all about racism, as the general public does. BLM is a myopic approach to the problem, but if it opens the discussion of police reform and class disparity (class being the main contributing factor to crime in general) then the ends justify the means.

Were they real paramedics? No pulse check, couldn't get George onto the gurney, no CPR?

Re: Minnesota Man Dies In Custody
Motherfucker, at what point in the NINE FUCKING MINUTES that he was being asphyxiated to death do you see this unarmed man resisting arrest? And in what fucking world are you living where a non-violent offense (passing a counterfeit bill) carries with it the consequence of death? You make me sick to my stomach. |

Were you there for the entire scene, before the camera started rolling?

Good for you and thank you for your contribution to this website. Your words change the hearts and minds of each of who read your version of the truth. Thank you for the wisdom you have bestowed on each and every one of us who read your interpretation of what life is while living outside the United States. I will say this... Too bad it wasn't you underneath that officer's knee. Jagoff.

Re: Minnesota Man Dies In Custody
Anybody here ever watch a UFC fight where one of the fighters gets their bell rang and goes unresponsive? Maybe a couple more punches while they are comatose just to make sure they won't forget who they lost too the rest of their life? If the referee sees the fighter is defenseless and does nothing, isn't the ref just as guilty for letting a savage beating take place? Anyone in blue standing within a block radius could obviously see the circumstances unfold and could have easily ended the type restraint being used. They are ALL guilty in this scenario even if they were not willing to listen to the mob mentality. Regardless, a mob mentality should not prevent a person from doing the right thing, and being a public servant swearing an oath to uphold the laws of that state and of this country. It's a disgrace and the action of a subhuman public servant(s) could have just as easily been remedied with a tap on the shoulder stating enough is enough. I wish the guy who kept saying "bro" a million times would have bumrushed the cops and been taken down afterwards. He would have been a millionaire later in life if he did... He missed his payday from a no brainer lawsuit. And he would be considered a hero... Sad.
