I think you’re right. Seems like they were all together. Looks like he noticed this guy was about to stumble off the platform and tried grabbing him but the subway car moved forward, knocking his grip. Well that and the fact that the dude probably weighed a good 240 and was already drunken dead weight. The guy had a date with death either way.
