Military Helicopter On Humanitarian Mission Crashed - Eight Soldiers Dead
Eight Colombian soldiers have died after a helicopter carrying them on a humanitarian mission crashed near the border with Venezuela. The soldiers were on a mission in the eastern department of Vichada when the helicopter 'crashed into the ground', the country's President Gustavo Petro confirmed on Sunday. According to the Colombian Aerospace Force, the helicopter "was carrying out an aeromedical evacuation mission". |

Damn. Seeing the damage to the heli and the bodies, it looks they fell free from very high or they sped onto the ground

No reason for that heli to malfunction-crash like that unless the main blades fragmented or he mast-bumped...which is unlikely - the tail is right there all intact. Zero auto...max force impact...hmmm. Is that a clear sky or is it low-overcast? I don't see any shadows. Do they still shoot down helicopters down there or was that just the 80s?

Re: Military Helicopter On Humanitarian Mission Crashed - Eight Soldiers Dead
I always wonder what people in these kinds of situations go through in their minds. Not that I’m in any hurry to find out, just curious.. do they scream, cry, accept their fate? I survived a skydiving accident in 1995 under two tangled canopies. I fought like hell to survive and did. I knew immediately that it was going to kill me if I didn’t do anything so started fighting and never gave up until the end of it when I landed broken. Broken, yes, but still alive. Sad for these folks to go in like that. At least they did it in good company. |

on helicopters with a male captain and cocaptain its typically called a cock pit, but with all those broads, should change it to box office

Dear lord, I think I see signs of cannibalism. They must have been eating someone when it crashed. “Todays in flight meal will be…Jorge” |
