Re: Mexico - Skinning His Face

seems like his spinal cord was severed almost immediately from the first initial cut so he probably didnt feel anything just understood he was getting carved the fuck up... he could see it, hear it and do nothing about it...
I was going to say same thing. That first cut did the guy a favor. There are 5 maxillofacial nerves with the main sensory nerve at base of skull. The other being above ears. He would have felt the eyelids and nasal cuts if he hadn’t gone into shock. The fact that he talked is kinda proof that he was at least somewhat lucid and aware. I believe he felt the Columbian necktie as that’s a different nerve that connects to brain at jawline.

the trigeminal nerve provides sensation to the face and it most certainly is not located at the base of the neck. Most of the cranial nerves are involved with things in and around the “maxillofacial” region and there are more than 5.

I was hoping (coping? :P) for that as well, but I don’t know if they went deep enough for that

LOL, you don't require THAT amount of skill to peel off someone's face. Just keep the blade close to the bone and you'll have it. Hell, I think even I could pull it off based on all the videos I've seen
