Have you ever heard of Toxoplasma gondi? It's a parasite. When it enters a rat, it will essentially take the wheel and control it. A bit like a zombie.

This is what I personally compare a suicidal mindset to. Mental illness is a disease and it changes your way of thinking. It can easily take the wheel and control your behaviors. So just because people aren't stuck in a wheelchair, don't think they aren't being crippled by an unseen problem that makes them want to kill themselves. I know that I wish those thoughts would stop. I'm on medications and it's better, but they never go away completely. I would give anything not to have them.
