I used to work in a video gambling parlor and those people are completely hypnotized by those screens and sounds. I worked there four years and watched the same people from younger and middle aged skilled laborers to old people on disability/pensions dump every cent they had to spend for that next week to month into those infernal machines. Of course the state gets a 50% cut of all the earnings so that makes it ok bc it's funding whatever bs they want to sink taxpayer money into.
