Yeah, that voice slowed down is a lot of fun to work with. It's funny, I chopped up the words "Chili" and "Shopping" to create "Chopping". It's from that old song, from the early 60's, Speedy Gonzales. That girl singing too--her voice is so beyond cute, I love her. I spliced her singing into this French Breakcore producer called Igorrr's music. Earlier in the song, I get the Mexican to interact with aerobics instructors, and this other really cute sounding girl making bone broth for this Latin cooking show. Samples almost too perfect for scoring Cartel violence to. In the sweetest goddamn voice possible, she says shit like: "The acid...extracts fat from the bone", or "Just a little bit of fat on the bottom", etc. I'm gonna use it for those group chop em' up and dissolved ladies videos from a few years ago. |

The whole song is cool, but that guitar is at the beginning and end. I use a lot of this song in the project. He makes really crazy music.

You might like this older song of his too. It's heavily Spanish influenced--and he plays his guitar in similar style in it. This was the runner up for part 3 of the Cocaine Musical, but I chose the other--less singing. You might like his brand new album called Spirituality & Distortion. There are a few people involved in it, and he compiled a lot of instruments from around the world for it. |
