Ecuador, merchant R. E. M. R. was shot to death in his car yesterday afternoon in front of the main gate of the municipal market that exists there. The victim, together with his wife and their kid on the passenger seat and a woman with another child in the backseat, were waiting for some food theu ordered and about to leave when two subjects appeared on foot and shot him multiple times at close range. The bullets hit him in the head and chest, so his death was instantaneous, while the woman was injured and was taken to the Hospital. The kids and the other woman were unharmed. Investigators collected 25 bullet cases at the site.   |
