Medical College Student Looking on His Phone Run Over by Reversing Delivery Van
Russia, A van driver, delivering water bottles was backing up on the sidewalk to reach the road after he made a delivery when he knocks down and runs over a 20 year old medical student glued to his phone. As a result the young student died on the spot. The van driver told the police he never saw him or felt something when backing up over the victim.  |

If the driver didn't see or feel anything, why does the driver look under the van as soon as he gets out? If the guy was in the road when he got hit, he deserved it. So attached to our devices and no spatial awareness. |

So much stupidity here. Standing in the middle of the road? I wonder if that truck has a backup warning sound, if not driver should have at least honked or got out to look. I think we need a new section for DEATH BY CELLPHONE/ CARELESS DISTRACTION. There will only be more and more of these videos anyway
