Re: Mark Coates and Richard Blackburn Shooting (Full Dash Cam and Backup Arrives)
What you see is not remotely anythong to what you stated... the officer was searching the suspect, and after punching him five times (which was NOT center mass) with a .357, he let his guard down. He wasnt poorly trained, he made a mistake, and in his world, its usually paid with their lives. The other is hysrerical? Please, he just drove up and a brother is bleeding out, and multiple dudes standing around. he wasnt hysterical, he was pissed, letting them know whos in charge. Pretty easy to play armchair quarterback

Re: Mark Coates and Richard Blackburn Shooting (Full Dash Cam and Backup Arrives)
He was hysterical in out of control, threatening to kill everybody-hardly becoming of anyone that is trained law enforcement. Why didn't the dead officer get back to his vehicle? He was poorly trained, that's why. The dude just stood there looking like a tool looking at a rat he just killed. Totally preventable. Prob was a cool guy but the fact remains. RIP

Re: Mark Coates and Richard Blackburn Shooting (Full Dash Cam and Backup Arrives)
I can't believe my tax money paid for that cunt's surgery to save his life and reconstruct his shattered fat body. He should have died horribly and that trooper should still be alive and well. I don't care what that fat fuck's excuses are for what he did. There was no reason, no provocation, and he's nothing but a scumbag. |

Lol... ummm because he was calling for backup on his radio, when he was shot. The only reason it pierced his chest was his arm was up and angled on his radio. But keeping a subject he just shot in eye contact.

Another note.... this changed s.c. state police policy. Because of this shooting, they were changed from wheel guns (.357s) to semi auto pistols

Re: Mark Coates and Richard Blackburn Shooting (Full Dash Cam and Backup Arrives)
We can go back and fourth all you want but the fact remains that he's dead. He took way to long to get to cover and took cover in the wrong spot. His partner acted stupidly as well. Officers die all the time, more so from auto accidents and officers still remain professional. This vid has been used countless times in training I'm certain. Peace
