Damn, those belts turned the guy into a giraffe...  You can tell his head got separated from his spinal column just before the other dude stepped on his neck... If only someone was quick to stop the other belt, I think he might've lived. I'm assuming this was in China though, based on the lettering in the video and the execution of safety protocols, so this probably wasn't even the only workplace death that week.  |

There are no safety procedures in many of these low skilled low pay jobs in China. And it's not because the company doesn't care. The company actually cares a lot. China has some fucked up laws. In this instance, if the guy falls in there and gets all messed up or even a little messed up. The company is likely to have to pay him a wage for the rest of his life. Because China is a sue happy nation, and people win these suits alot. But if he dies. The company might be forced to pay for his funeral, but that's it. So it's better if he dies as far as they're concerned. So they care alot about nobody saving him. It's a big reason when anyone in China is injured or dieing in public like on the street. Nobody helps. |

Also looks survivable, his hips made it through there. So his head could have too. He just didn't fight. You can see him bitching out. The look of pain on his face. He shouldn't be feeling pain, his adrenaline should have hit him and his will to live should have taken over. But he just gave up . I'm guessing he didn't have much to live for. |
