Yes, it is his lung-it moves in tandem with his diaphragm. Considering that he has good airflow (it's not collapsed or sucking), and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the aorta, he should be able to pull through this if he can avoid infection. |

Since his ribs were compromised, I doubt that his left lung was deflating. Instead it bulges out. Good thing we have two of them.
