The video description on the front page is not quite accurate. This wasn't about a disturbance in the library. There was a livestreamed event being held by citizens protesting about Islamification in their country.

It is widely being reported that the event was being held by extreme right wing activists. In Europe this is common now, if people are opposed to Islam they are often labelled as extreme right wing. In any event they were having a peaceful gathering when Afghan-born Suleiman A. a 25 year old asylum seeker attempted to murder several people present.

At the time of writing the officer stabbed in his neck has undergone surgery and remains in a critical condition.

The initial target of the attack, Michael Stuerzenberger 59, was stabbed in the face, chest, arm and leg and is awake and able talk after also having undergone a life saving operation.

The attacker is also being treated in hospital and is likely to recover from his injuries.

Maybe the police will learn to restrain the Muslim with a knife instead of the rest of society.

I count 6 Polizei standing flat footed on the scene while the Muslim was actively attacking, before he stood up and stabbed another Polizei in the back. Not one Polizei had a weapon drawn.

Had any of those 6 Polizei approached the scene with guns drawn, they could have immediately shot the Muslim and prevented at least one-near fatal attack of an LEO. Instead they were all back-shuffling to protect their own selves because (presumably) their idiotic Rules of Engagement prevented LEOs from drawing at an active stabbing scene.

Wake up Duetschland. Wake up Europa. Die Muslime are no longer at your doorstep. They are inside your house.

The attacker is alive and well. He'll probably get maybe 10 or 15 years for doing that in Germany. He'll be out and about in no time.

Sulaiman A. used his combat knife to make the first stab into the neck of Rouven L.

His heart is still beating. But only a heart-lung machine is keeping Rouven L. alive.

In the intensive care unit, Rouven L.'s parents and partner are now fearing for his life. There is little hope for the officer, whose actions probably prevented something worse from happening.

A friend of the family told: "It was clear early on that he would not survive this attack. But Rouven is an organ donor. He is being kept alive on a heart-lung machine."
