Re: Man Who Jumped Off Bridge Tries, in Vain, to Rescue Himself

I don't know how high the bridge was that he jumped off of, but if it was high enough it's possible he suffered internal injuries when he hit the water. It could have been the reason that he wasn't able to hold keep himself afloat. Either that or the dork just couldn't swim.

I thought only black people didn't know how to swim. I guess Indians don't either.

Your bouyancy is better in salt water compared to freshwater. This dude might have jumped at the wrong tide....or right.

If he had saved a few farts earlier in the day, he might have been able to stay afloat. Plan ahead, that is what I say.

Re: Man Who Jumped Off Bridge Tries, in Vain, to Rescue Himself

Yes I was a swim instructor. If you lay on your back with your arms outstretched and relax your entire body you can keep your nose and mouth above water enough to stay alive. It takes practice though to lose all fear. It's pretty ironic that so many after they drown and die float to the top like that. The lungs act as two airbags to keep you afloat but if someone exhales all their breath they can sink
It is panic that kills them

At least it was a quick death and he didn’t suffer.
